Thanks to its history and expertise in high gastronomy, the Plaza Athénée Hotel was awarded the Living Heritage Company label in 2010. The following year, it was one of the first Parisian 5-star hotels to be elevated to the rank of “palace”. The Plaza Athénée has 154 rooms and 54 suites, including the Royal Suite which can accommodate up to 10 people. Each of the four marble bathrooms (photo) is equipped with a red porphyry bathtub. Beige marble columns with gold-leafed capitals frame the basins and are endlessly reflected in large wall mirrors.
