Wheat coloured coat

0
The Aubrac cow has a monochrome coat that can vary from grey-white to light brown color, with orange tints reminiscent of wheat. Its lyre-shaped horns are recognizable by their black tip, and its eyes, the cow's signature feature, seem to be drawn with kohl. The Aubrac cow is sought after for its fecundity, ease of calving, and good suckling skills. Originally from the Aubrac plateau, its history dates back to the Middle Ages when it was mainly raised for milk production and its abilities at work.
