Downstream from Saint-André-des-Alpes - located 27.9 miles (45 km) and 5,118 feet (1,560 meters) of vertical drop from its source - the Verdon, which has already been joined by the Lance in Colmars, is gradually enlarged by its other tributaries : first the Issole in Saint-André-des-Alpes, then the Jabron at the Clue de Carejuan, the Baou at the entrance to the Grand canyon of the gorges, the Artuby at la Mescla and the Colostre shortly before Gréoux-les-Bains.
