The current Croix de Provence was rehabilitated between May and August 2004 by the Syndicat du Grand Site Sainte-Victoire that cost the work necessary for its renovation and gathered the funding. The interventions included a restoration of the metal part, injections of concrete to fill the cracks in the base, reinforcement and Bibémus stone facing of the base, reconstruction of the band on the north face, and sanding of the marble slabs. They were carried out with a view to preserving the site's image and its fidelity to the original provisions.
