Built in the 17th century, the castle of Rustrel has the shape of a quadrilateral flanked by four rounded corner towers, in an architecture traditional in the castles of Haute Provence. One of the corner towers, which fell into ruins, was rebuilt in 1992 in order for the castle to recover its original appearance. The restoration work undertaken by the municipality of Rustrel also made it possible to highlight the front door and the central windows thanks to large bossed device frames.
