The Château de Brégançon is a luxurious residence built at the beginning of the 18th century on a former Marquisate of which the eponymous fort, today a presidential residence, was the stronghold. It also constitutes a wine estate of 104 acres (42 ha) facing the Golden Islands of Porquerolles and Port-Cros. This listed site has belonged for two centuries and eight generations to the descendants of the family of Hermann Sabran, a lawyer from Lyon.
