The Louis Vuitton Foundation displays the logo of the flagship brand of the LVMH group at the entrance. The intertwined initials are formed by an italic L and a straight V in metal. It was created by Louis Vuitton’s son in 1896 as a tribute to his father. Since then, the logo has travelled the world and continues to symbolise the brand. At the same time as the logo, Georges Vuitton created the Monogram canvas, in which the two initials are coloured brown-beige, gold and orange. In 2003, the rainbow letters of Japanese artist Takashi Murakami brought a new look to the century-old brand.
