Antoine Durenne received the Legion of Honour in 1862 in recognition of the quality of the foundry he founded five years before. His tradition carries on today at the GHM metallurgical factory of Sommevoire, in the Haute-Marne department. The site produces commemorative monuments, fountains, animal, religious or allegorical statues, kiosks, lush architectural decorations, or public lighting. These many works of art equip or adorn numerous cities worldwide, in the USA, Canada, Venezuela, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Algeria, Cambodia, or China.
