A towpath visible here to the left of a small stone bridge runs from Joigny to Saint-Aubin-sur-Yonne. It meanders along the Epizy diversion canal and encircles the eponymous lake, wedged between the Yonne and the canal. Walkers and cyclists enjoy following it, especially since it was cleaned by the Voies Navigables de France (Waterways of France). The village of Saint-Aubin-sur-Yonne has even widened and paved the towpath between the lock and the village of Villecien. Near the lock, a pontoon has been set up so that yachtsmen can make a stopover.
