The result of work on curves and light, the Sequana Tower (formerly the Mozart Tower) in Issy-les-Moulineaux was designed by the American agency Arquitectonica. The architecture of this 100-metre high building echoes its environmental quality, which has earned it ‘NF HQE Bâtiments Tertiaires’ certification as well as the 2007 Eco Building Grand Prize in the “Very tall building” category. The tower is optimally oriented to promote natural light. Its roof is covered with 1,476 sq. feet (450 m2) of photovoltaic panels, while its facades are equipped with double glazing with a shading system to optimize energy exchanges.
