The Luberon ochres, already labeled a European Destination of Excellence since 2017, are committed to a Grand Site de France recognition process that would distinguish a 15.5 mi (25 km) zone between Goult and Gignac. This ambitious project carried by the Pays d'Apt Luberon conurbation and its partners rewards the territories preserving and enhancing remarkable tourist sites by ensuring a local and sustainable socio-economic development with respect for the inhabitants and the environment.
