The municipality of Séguret in the Vaucluse department had 856 inhabitants in 2019. Its population has been fairly stable for two hundred years, and the population density (41 inhabitants / km²) is low. The inhabitants are mainly massed in the village, the urbanized areas representing only 3.9% of a municipal territory occupied to 48.5% by agricultural land and 47.3% by forests. The population of Séguret is relatively old, with almost a quarter of the inhabitants aged sixty and over.
