A fully exploitable plant

Flax is a biodegradable plant fully exploitable and transformable from root to tip. The rod gives long fibers for textiles and short for tows used in the textile industry, stationery, insulation, and the automotive and composite industries. The bark of flax can be transformed into animal litter, heating material, and compact boards. The seeds would be used for sowing the year following their harvest or for producing flours and oils. Flax stems and their skins give dust that can be transformed into compost to bring organic matter to the soils and lighten them.
