Far from any tourist facilities, the Vauville cove, on the west coast of La Hague Peninsula, displays no less than seven miles (11 km) of a long ribbon of fine sand. Siouville-Hague Beach is the most popular spot for local surfers because of its strong winds. Dolphins, porpoises, gray seals, and common seals can be observed offshore during their migrations.
