On Wednesdays and Sundays, the Trouville-sur-Mer fish market allows visitors to measure the diversity and seasonality of local fishing. If in winter and autumn, the scallop caught by dredge is the queen species, at the beginning of the year, the soles fished by net and trawl flood the market and the quay. They are replaced in spring and summer by mackerels, caught with small pelagic trawls. As for the crustaceans caught in nets or traps, they are present all year round.
