Saint-Roch park is located halfway between Le Havre's beach and the city center and offers visitors a break in the heart of nature. The luxurious rose garden with 18 rose varieties, sculptures, and other impressionist flowerbeds form a landscape conducive to strolling and relaxation. The garden also comprises numerous varieties of remarkable trees, such as the Atlas cedar, Mexican orange tree, or Gingko Biloba. The park is organized in a circle of almost 5 acres (2 ha) around ten flower-filled islands and also comprises a belle époque bandstand.
