Spathoglottis plicata is a pink-to-divine-colored wild orchid found in tropical rainforests at low and mid-altitudes. Originally from Asia and Australia, it was naturalized in Martinique where it has become invasive. This sturdy 31.4 inches (80 cm) tall plant bears clusters of odorless flowers throughout the year. It is found in particular on the slopes of Mount Pelée that culminates at 4,583 ft (1,397 m).
