Formerly open to walkers, the Quai des Milliardaires of Port Vauban in Antibes is now deserted and closed to the public. It has also experienced fewer occupants since the Antibes town hall handed over the port's management to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Nice in 2016. The former property contracts that the boaters sold among themselves were then replaced by guarantees of use commercialized by the CCI for ten or twenty years rings and representing a considerable financial gain for the community.
