The territory of the municipality of Gorbio in the Alpes-Maritimes department extends on 4.35 sqm (7 km²). Rural and particularly hilly, it is at 82.4% occupied by forests and semi-natural environments, mostly divided into shrubs or herbaceous vegetation and forests. The urbanized areas mainly include the historic village and the valley of Gorbio. They cover only 17.6% of the municipal territory.
