A mineral raw material
0
0
The raw material of the ochres of the Provençal Colorado of Rustrel is of mineral origin. It comes from the degradation and recombination in the form of clays of part of the minerals of the region's granite bedrock. These different processes result in the formation of kaolin, which consists of crumbly and refractory white clays composed of oxygen, aluminum, and silicon.
