The Blanc manade (herd) is certified organic by Bureau Véritas, and its farm has been producing field crops (fodder, rice, etc.) organically since the 2000s. Livestock farming was converted to organic in the early 2010s for health reasons and product enhancement. In addition to untreated natural pastures and open-air livestock with a food supplement of fodder and fatty rice, the manade respects specifications that notably limit the use of phytosanitary and veterinary products in the event of illness.
