The Corvette was launched by the Chevrolet company in 1953 in Flint, Michigan, and became a symbol of the USA in the 1960s. The Cité de l'Automobile and the Corvette Racer Team dedicated an exhibition to the model in 2018. The Corvette's numerous appearances in Hollywood movies have massively contributed to its fame. The model has starred more than 1,400 times in television series (Route 66, Glee) and international films (Rush Hour, La Dolce Vita, American Graffiti) and is undeniably part of American pop culture nowadays.
