A very dense fur
The husky's fur presents a very thick appearance with a double coat of medium length which does not mask its well-drawn silhouette. Its undercoat - also called fluff hair or down - is soft and dense. Sufficiently long to support the top coat, it provides thermal insulation for the animal. Its top coat - or jar hair - is longer, straight, flexible and plated against its body.
