Access to the Fondation Louis Vuitton is made by crossing one end of the Bois de Boulogne until seeing it emerge, surrounded by water. A waterfall runs down a staircase and disappears under the building embedded in the ground in order to meet height standards. The lobby houses a restaurant dominated by a sculpture made by the architect himself. Escalators and elevators lead to the first floor reserved for the architect Frank Gehry which presents the models and drawings that led to the design of the complex. Two other floors are dedicated to contemporary art exhibitions.
