An essential habitat management
0
0
During its annual cycle, the Hermann's tortoise (Testudo hermanni hermanni) needs a mosaic of varied natural environments. They range from wooded areas for its protection, semi-open and grassed areas for its food, more open and well-exposed areas for the deposit of its eggs, to the essential water points. The species protection and preservation programs, therefore, pay particular attention to the management of the Hermann's tortoise's habitat.
