Although unfinished, Saint-Ouen church in Pont-Audemer is one of the most important monuments of flamboyant Norman architecture. The Roman church was first built at the beginning of the 11th century, though only the present choir remains today. In the 15th century, it was decided the church should be expanded. Instead of completing the work that had been started, the Renaissance architects decorated and modified the lines of the Roman transept.
