A church equipped with a clock

0
The Saint-Étienne parish church of Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt in the Vaucluse department stands at the top of the Rue de la République, on the square of the town hall which it faces. It is equipped with a clock that prevents the town hall from having one. The motto of the French Republic (Liberty, Equality, Fraternity) appears on the lintel of the church's door, while the town hall does not bear any Republican mention but two little angels.
