Today, more than one hundred people work on the 2,470 or so acres (1,000 ha) of the Haras National du Pin in the Orne department. Around two hundred horses benefit from the site's facilities. Beyond the breeding and accommodation of horses, the stud farm has developed in its mare barn and its Bois stables a wide range of training courses of excellence in the fields of riding, saddlery, and harnessing. The Haras National du Pin also hosts numerous events in its Parc du Haut-Bois and races at its Hippodrome de la Bergerie.
