A lady and her bridges

The Eiffel Tower is visible from many places and certain bridges that cross the Seine in Paris. Inaugurated during the 1900 Universal Exhibition, the Alexandre III bridge is the most extravagant in terms of decorations. Its statues, gilded with fine gold, sit at the top of four corner towers. The monument's significant width (131 ft / 40 m) allows taking a step back and enjoying the view of the bridge and the Eiffel Tower together. Overall, some ten bridges offer a more or less close view of the Iron Lady.
