Carnoules is a rural municipality of the Plaine des Maures in the Var department. It is surrounded to the north by Besse-sur-Issole, to the east by Pignans, to the southeast by Collobrières, to the south by Pierrefeu-du-Var, and to the west by Puget-Ville. Its territory covers nearly 6,300 acres (2,550 ha) between 377 and 1,591 ft (115 and 485 m) above sea level. Carnoules is located 12.4 mi (20 km) southeast of Brignoles and 22.9 mi (37 km) northeast of Toulon, the administrative center of the department.
