A nocturnal hunt
Lions usually like to hunt at nighttime. They take advantage of the darkness to blend in their environment even more and benefit from coolness of the night to minimize fatigue. Here, a six lions coalition has just caught a buffalo. Once satisfied, because of the energy released during the hunt but also during the digestion process, they will probably rest for the next days nearby the kill.
