In the heart of the Côtes-du-Rhône vineyards, the municipality of Séguret was chosen in 2015 for the signing of a Landscape and Environmental Charter intended to protect and enhance the wine-growing landscapes and their heritage as well as the image and reputation of the wines produced in the region. A preliminary landscape diagnosis made it possible to characterize the Rhône specificities of these landscapes. This charter, which aims to promote sustainable cultivation practices and secure the future of the vineyard, also takes into account the built heritage and provides support for the restoration of the low walls and mazets.
