A chapel dedicated to Saint Lazarus

The chapel dedicated to Saint Lazarus in Gorbio in the Alpes-Maritimes department distinguishes itself by its size and architecture. Particularly large for a village of 1,547 inhabitants, the monument erected in the 12th century follows an almost square plan. Its molded stucco cornices and exterior paintings are protected by an overhang pierced with semicircular plaster barrel vaults.
