A dangerous bay fed by three rivers
0
0
At low tide, the vast Baie du Mont-Saint-Michel is visible for miles. It allows seeing the Sélune, the Couesnon, and the See flowing into its estuary. The rivers make the bay's crossing on foot even more difficult and further dig their bed in the pitch. It is advised to take a guide for the remote walks off Mont-Saint-Michel because of the quicksand and the possibility to lose the sense of direction.
