In the Luberon Regional Nature Park, the Massif des Ocres displays imposing landscapes of multicolored cliffs, fairy chimneys, and buttes of ocher sand. After being dug by men with shovels and pickaxes at the time of the ocher deposits exploitation, they are today kneaded by the weather and shaped by wind and rainwater. The landscapes fascinate visitors by the geological and human adventure to which they bear witness and by the remarkable thickness of their colored veins.
