Since 2016, the membership area of Port-Cros National Park includes the 27,653 acres (11,191 ha) of the municipalities of Hyères-les-Palmiers, La Croix-Valmer, La Garde, Le Pradet, and Ramatuelle, all signatories of the park charter. The area is home to almost 100,000 permanent inhabitants, added to the 350 inhabitants of the islands of Port-Cros and Porquerolles located in the heart of the park. The membership area of Port-Cros National Park corresponds to its sustainable development project space.
