Chestnuts, cork trees, olive groves, breeding, and plowing constitute as many forms of agriculture and associated landscapes that coexist on the territory of Collobrières in the Maures Massif. The village's terroir comprises several wine grape varieties, including the Côtes-de-Provence PDO, that develop along the Réal Collobrier valley on the road to Pierrefeu-du-Var. Collobrières hosts the La Treille des Maures cooperative cellar as well as two independent estates, the Domaine du Garde-Temps and the Domaine de la Portanière. If the exploitation of cork has almost disappeared, the chestnut remains the agricultural emblem of Collobrières. Its chestnut growers are committed to a traceability process guaranteeing the origin and quality of their products. Planted in the Middle Ages, the chestnut trees were then the villagers' breadfruit trees.
