Located in the Oise-Pays de France Regional Nature Park, Royaumont Abbey is the largest Cistercian abbey in the Île-de-France region. It contains three remarkable gardens, the cloister garden, a French-style garden designed by Achille Duchêne in 1912. More recently, the Jardin des Neuf Carrés was created in 2004 by Damée, Vallet & Associés Paysagistes. Finally, since 2014, the vegetable garden imagined by Astrid Verspieren and Philippe Simonnet has allowed discovering the natural regeneration capacities of plants.
