The Tellure mining park extends over the Saint-Jean Engelsbourg's mine. Mining in the Val d'Argent's subsoil began on a small scale during the Middle Ages, in the 13th century. The arrival of new extraction techniques, brought by miners from Saxony and Bohemia, led to more intense exploitation at the end of the 15th century. Since 2009 it is possible to explore the galleries through a via ferrata, sometimes using a zipline.
