The Ijen is an explosive gray volcano located on the island of Java (Indonesia). At the heart of the volcano's crater is the most acidic lake on the planet. This lake is very rich in sulfur. Thus, when the volcano erupts, it releases a large quantity of oxygen which comes into contact with sulfur and which gives this electric blue color to the flames which can sometimes reach up to 5 meters in height.
