0
Génos is a small mountain village located in the Hautes-Pyrénées department. Bordering Spain with the city of Aragon, the municipality is at the heart of the Pays d'Aure (Aure country) and the Louros valley. Its location makes it an ideal place to enjoy the culture of both countries. The village bore the name of Leuger de Lenos from the early 12th century until the 19th century when it took its current appellation. The Lac de Génos (Génos Lake) attracts many visitors each year thanks to its remarkable landscape and the many benefits of its waters.
