The territory of the municipality of Gassin covers 6,113 acres (2,474 ha), from sea level to 1,062 ft (324 m) of altitude, in the Var department. It culminates at Barri de Gassin, located north of the Paillas mills of Ramatuelle, where the Valescure stream originates. The medieval village extends 659 ft (201 m) above sea level, overlooking the entire Gulf of Saint-Tropez and offering a view over the Bay of Cavalaire, including Hyères Islands.
