A large territory

Male cheetahs are very territorial. They often associate to form coalition and reign over a territory spreading over 30 to much more than 150sp km, especially according to the availability of food ressources. The larger their territory is, the more likely they are to mate with females that live there.
As for the females, solitary or with their litter, they occupy a space with not really defined borders. The territory of females that know each other sometimes overlaps. It may have an area of 150sp km.
