A vast riding and training area

Between the Petit Rhône to the west, the Gulf of Fos to the east, and the Mediterranean sea to the south, the landscapes of Camargue are marked by horizontality and the interweaving between water and land. Nearly 25 miles (40 km) long and devoid of any construction, the beach seems to stretch to infinity between the two arms of the Rhône. From Saintes-Maries-de-la Mer in the west to the mouth of the Grand Rhône at Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône in the east, it offers riders and their mounts a vast riding and training area.
