Used for creating objects of revolution around an axis of rotation, woodturning is one possible form of woodworking. It allows - thanks to a wood lathe and a whole series of cutting tools - the realization of various simple or complex cylindrical shapes - handles, containers (bowls, vases), candlesticks, furniture (chairs , stools, table legs), wheels, wooden toys, decorative objects... - such as those displayed here in Robert Marichy's workshop.
