The Laticauda Saint-gironsi or Banded sea krait nests in trees, crevices and branches. Its yellow and black rings camouflage it well in nature. It comes ashore to sleep, lay its eggs and digest the prey it has hunted in the water. Its bite is dangerous but it is not aggressive if it is not disturbed and accidents are rare.
