A terroir on the foothills of Cap Bénat

The Malherbe terroir is clinged onto the foothills of Cap Bénat in the Var department. It gives its name to the Malherbe cuvée from the eponymous wine estate, located in Bormes-les-Mimosas. The red earthy soil of its hillside vines is a mixture of reddish-brown clays and silvery schists. It is deeply irrigated by the runoffs from the neighboring Maures Massif.
