In 2018, the forests and semi-natural environments still occupied 46.9% of the territory of the municipality of Gassin in the Var department. The urbanized areas, only accounting for 11.5% of the town, are divided between the medieval village, the hamlets of Minuty, Riboty, Saint-Jean, La Rouillère, Tras Barri, and the Saint-Martin, Sinopolis, and Les Chênes housing estates. As for the industrial or commercial zones, they represent less than 2% of the territory of Gassin.
