The territory of the municipality of Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt covers 18,728 acres (7,579 ha) between 711 and 3,585 ft (217 and 1,093 m) above sea level and is marked by steep slopes and valleys. The current village extends at an altitude of around 1,148 ft (350 m) on a break in the slope, where the northern borders of the agricultural land of the Calavon valley and the first foothills of the Monts de Vaucluse meet. The village itself leans against one of the slopes of the Monts de Vaucluse and faces the north valley of the Grand Luberon.
