The territory of Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt covers nearly 31 sq mi (80 km²) and is divided into two zones with very distinct reliefs. The southern third of the village extends between 820 and 1,312 ft (250 and 400 m) above sea level. It corresponds to the most agricultural and urbanized section of this municipality rich in recent housing estates and hamlets. The rest of the municipal territory - made up of scrubland, oak or conifer woods, almond trees, and lavender fields - rises between 1,312 and 3,608 ft (400 and 1,100 m) above sea level.
